POLK CITY, Fla. – USA Water Ski is pleased to announce the hiring of Krista Rogers as the organization’s new Director of Marketing & Partnerships, effective Sept. 3, 2013. Rogers will work closely with USA Water Ski Executive Director Bob Crowley and will be responsible for sponsor and partnership development, sponsor activation at tournaments, sponsor fulfillment, and a host of additional marketing initiatives.
“We are delighted to add the talents of Krista Rogers to our USA Water Ski headquarters’ team as the Director of Marketing and Partnerships,” Crowley said. “Combining her professional experience and education in marketing and public relations with her passion and dedication for the sport water skiing makes Krista a terrific addition as we reshape and refocus our overall Headquarters operation.”
In 2011, Rogers founded 24K PR, where she secured and managed clients’ marketing and public relations needs across a range of industries–many of which are in the water sports’ industry. Prior to that she served as an account executive with Gable PR. Rogers is a graduate of the Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University, where she minored in Business Marketing. She also is a national champion three-event water skier, having won five national titles in the past 10 years.

USA Water Ski was formed in 1939 as a non-profit organization promoting water skiing in the United States. USA Water Ski is affiliated with the International Waterski & Wakeboard Federation (world governing body) and is recognized by the United States Olympic Committee and Pan-American Sports Organization as the national governing body of organized water skiing in the United States.
