This boat is designed to maximize wake performance and passenger comfort while maintaining precision mid-engine inboard handling.
Everything on the 22i Type R is creative, innovative and cutting edge. This inboard is an amazing 102 inches wide, which in itself creates a lot of room, but the unique interior is designed to comfortably hold a big group of friends and family. The 22i Type R has twin seats in the rear corners with a fiberglass step-through in the middle of the transom that provides easy access to the platform. There’s an awesome, comfortable seat on the back of the motor box – the best seat in the house for watching a rider. The layout also helps in weighting the boat because it offers twin gull-wing storage lockers to conveniently hold a couple of fat sacs in the rear. This is unique for inboards because you can typically only put one fat sac in the back. Nearly every top rider trains behind and owns a V-drive. The Tigè 22i Type R is going to change that. It has so much seating and so much room, but still possesses great handling, great wakes and good skiability. This is really a new category of boat combining the best of direct and V-drives.
