Consider the Santera the most family-friendly Supra you can get. Specific amenities work well for younger kids, while the high-performance hull, the same as on the Launch SSV, reminds you that this isn't a runabout.
The Santera is the only model in Supra's lineup with a walk-through transom for a wide passageway to the swim platform. It's also the only one with a walk-through bow as a standard feature. Both make it easier for tots to teens to safely scramble from bow to stern. And the built-in tube inflator and optional freshwater sink with rail are, you guessed it, only available on the Santera. Seating for 10 is wide, spacious and comfy in the open bow, the new bucket seat with bolster and the wraparound lounge, and the optional 48-quart cooler has room for a Saturday's worth of drink boxes. Though the hydraulic wake plate is included, you'll have to decide whether to get the optional tower or pylon – or just stick to tubing.
The hardness and size of the wakes, along with the typical V-drive bump, are at a recreational level, good for a 15-off laid-back set. The Santera gets you out of the hole quickly with a responsive throttle and provides a solid pull in the open water.
Good for casual fun, and you can boost the size somewhat with the optional one-bag ballast in the front. The wake has real potential with added ballast. Ramp-style wakes are clean and smooth, and the lip allows good kick off the top.
