Ski Boat Review
All-new for 2010, Nautique Boats introduced its latest three-event specialist, the Ski Nautique 200. Designed in part by the slalom legend Andy Mapple, this Nautique ski boat offers a newly configured dash unlike any on the market. By shifting all the controls to the right, the windshield is opened up, allowing for optimal lake visibility from the driver’s seat. More importantly, the Ski Nautique 200 has a completely retooled ski boat hull and a wake that is softer than any of its predecessors.
The clean lines of the Ski Nautique 200 extend to its interior. A redesigned clamshell engine box makes room for a few more inches of walk-around space in the lounge. With convenient and stylish features like twin saddlebag ski lockers, a stainless glove box housing the stereo head unit and the soothing indigo-blue console lights, you don’t have to sacrifice style and space for a top-of-the-line ski boat wake.
The combination of a wider running surface and precisely guided water flow over the innovative lines of the hull provide added lift, reduced wake size and make the troughs flatter and easier to edge through. Since the wakes have more of a gradual entry, skiers who normally get kicked by the bumps will feel much more in control.
1. Helm: Outstandingly redesigned, you won’t find a more visible or conveniently handled driver’s console anywhere else on the market.
2. Flawless hull design: This hard-core three-event Nautique ski boat is guaranteed to make skiing easier and more fun.
3. LINC System: This easy-to-use optional dash LCD is the control center of your ski boat, which displays your engine diagnostics, GPS mapping, stereo controls and even video.
